I'm prompted to write a review after seeing the Court Theatre's recent production 'The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time'. It was truly magnificent. I only manage to get this theatre every once in a while but over the years I have been doing so, I have enjoyed every performance I've attended. I'm fortunate enough to have been... More

Saw a production of 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' - Challenging to watch and physically demanding to perform with the energy and real commitment shown by the cast. Would strongly suggest seeing the production as it's solid, professional theatre. Also ate here beforehand. The pizzas are excellent, the bar is interestingly well stocked, the environment has... Greatly enjoyed our evening! Loved the pizza and beer in the renovated lobby area, and very cool comedy. Ropable, a new play, featured very talented actors, excellent soundtrack, and an endearing, witty script. If we lived in NZ we'd be back more often! Don't miss this lovely gem if you're looking for a great night of live, authentic theatre.

Love coming back here. They have managed to create a great "theatre" atmosphere in a building that is far away from being "purposely built" one. Convenient location, plenty of free parking for those who are there for a show. Gourmet pizza could be pre-ordered if you would like to have your meal before the show.

We went to the Court Theatre to see the Sacred Scriptless show. The theatre its self is phenomenal, there is a beautiful bar with an area for guests to gather and socialise, and the stage and seating are really well designed. The show we saw was absolutely hilarious! It was a highlight of my trip to New Zealand. You will... More

The Court Theatre is incredible. The variety and quality of productions must be experienced, from the profound to the hilarious, from large musicals to solo theatre, it is of the highest standard and well worth experiencing, in a comfortable spacious test intimate setting.

The Court Theatre is a Christchurch treasure, and a fantastic place to be entertained - whether it's late night comedy, edgy drama or a musical extravaganza, the Court has it all. The new wood fired pizza menu by BASE and extended bar makes for a perfectly rounded night out! The refurnished warehouse is a testament to the Christchurch spirit list... More

After the earthquakes, Court Theatre relocated so quickly and with great innovation and imagination, to a vast old grain store beside the railway in Addington. The show must (and did and does) go on! It's now a quirky but entirely practical theatre, with two playing spaces - three if you count the enormous foyer. The industrial décor is fabulously imaginative... More

I've been to many of the scared scriptless shows before and they never get old! Great improvisers! There is always a show for any age group and the atmosphere is great! Would highly recommend for a night out!!!

We enjoyed a great evening at this theatre. Ample parking outside, wine bar inside. Good seating. We went to see Educating Rita and will go back in future.
