Nice for a walk but if one is looking for views there are better places. Still, it helps with the chlorophyl in the city so keep growing.

The ducks on the lake were super cool, I was scared that the geese were going to chase me but they didn't! It was a very nice wander! :)

Another great walking area in Christchurch. Ideal for taking the dog. Good parking and lovely native flora. Accessible from the south and north east as well as the place pinned on this map. I prefer the Sty Mill Rd entrance.

Its easy to get to and is very quite. The conservation reserve has areas that have been developed to protect the native flora and fauna and to ensure water quality. Its very clean and has good public toilets.

You can enjoy a picnic, take your dog to the dog park or just talk a walk through the reserve area. Recommended for families, individuals or small groups. A great nature ramble and it is free.
