My wife and I spent two hours in ideal weather walking the park. The gardens were beautifully designed and colorful. Well worth a visit

I went to this park with my two Invercargill grandchildren and they knew it, loved it and were excited to show me around. There's a great playground, a good little cafe and some lovely paths to explore.

We spent 3 days in Invercargill and on each one of those, we spent at least some time walking through this beautiful garden. It's quite large, with the expected Duck Pond, Rose Garden, Children's playground and Central path that takes you from one end to the other. In between there are beautiful wooded areas and of course the occasional statue... More

A great way to spend some early evening time strolling around. The animal enclosure was closed but we were able to see plenty by going around the perimeter. The stump garden is unique and a little crazy.

I had no idea this place existed. I stumbled upon it while I was out for a walk after a long drive in to town. Wow. This community is blessed to have such a massive and beautifully well-maintened urban park. The golf course looked like it was worthwhile too. Beautiful walkways, ponds and flower beds abound. Make time for this... More

A highlight of invercargil , lovely to wander through and just relax. Roses were in flower and had a great variety. A prolific amount of wild ducks to share the gardens with and many examples of flora both local and exotic. Seems like the locals enjoy taking their dogs for a stroll.
