Definitely worth the 1.5-2 hour round hike up to the view. Great view over Queenstown and a good activity for half a day on your holiday. Especially a good activity for those looking for cheap or free activities in Queenstown.

This is an easy-to-find walking loop which provides beautiful views, plentiful birdlife, and even some lovely Maori sculptures and written insights into Maori philosophy. Take your camera. You could even take your lunch! You won't get bored on an out & back walk; just keep...More

A really spectacular view atop once you get up there. There's a lower view point, but if you're up to it do go up to the very top. You won't regret it. I must say it's a real up hill climb, bring drinking water, some...More

The walk takes about 2 hours in total, and was at a intermediate difficulty for us. The walkway is well maintained, and provides an excellent view over Queenstown at the top.

Hello! It was pretty steep and I can imagine parts of the track would be slippery if it has been raining. I would suggest hiking boots if possible, my sneakers did ok though. Also take water, as it is a bit of a walk to the... More
