Hot peaks!

Great! Totally wild runs, not too expensive. Snowboaarding is great - fully equipped rentals if you need to grab something. Can go all day. Queenstown is hot!

Once we visited the Coronet peak in Autumn, it's not sky season. But we can enjoy with the scenic view of Queenstown. This place is suitable for trekking and biking.

Took my husband here at that time he was just my boyfriend back then in late July 2015. I taught him how to snowboard and we had the best time. It was close to our hotel which was the Hilton so it was really handy.

Our Airbnb host told us to drive up to the Coronet Peak for a beautiful view of the Queenstown area. We were there at the end of New Zealand's summer and the views were indeed beautiful. We could see paragliders, the mountains and lake and Queenstown.

We couldn't get over the magnificent views from the top. It took about 20 minutes drive but worth it.

Be careful not to fall ! Concrete Peak is the ski resort nickname as is it lower than Remarks (1100 to 1600 m), so we unfortunately have rain over the winter, turning into ice when it goes down below zero... However, an unbelievable view (amazing) and the possibility to ski by night (Fri and Sat, from 6 to 9 pm,... More
