Certainly worth a look if you are stopping (or even passing through) Albury. Very interesting and a good walk across the weir. Plenty of good viewing areas for photos. Would be great to see the water with some of the gates open.

Outstanding construction that has been well maintained for nearly one hundred years. Also great to see the hydro electricity working. The Dam is really full and we could see very large murray cod swimming. The views of the mighty Murray were also lovely - a...More

Took the kids during the day. Was windy and a bit fresh but they enjoyed it. I went back at sunrise which I really recommend. Was calm and serene watching the sun rise over the hills.

There are a variety of picnic grounds and places to swim, take a boat or go fishing. Far too cold in winter, and foggy. Fantastic summer day venue.

The dam, as one might expect is very exposed, but well worth a visit. There is access from both sides and plenty of space for walks and even a picnic! But not on the cold or windy day, which we struck! Not a criticism, of...More
