Wonderful walking trials, lovely animal exhibits and great kids playground. Excellent place for kids parties and groups to get together for catch ups and adventures. Lovely little cafe on site for small range of snacks.

great place for young kid, it is pram friendly and easy parking. There are enough animals to entertain a young kid. BBQ area is clean and easy to use.

Almost km2 of forest, parks, family friendly area with good parking spots to visit, walk around, listen to the sound of birds, watch ducks in the pond, use BBQ and relax away from city rush. Enjoy Branimir

Took our 1 year old to black but to see the birds and he loved it. The ducks came up to him. The facilities have been upgraded great for a BBQ or party

and yes can taxi. use Uber alot cheaper.

Dogs on a leash or not are not permitted at Blackbutt Reserve. You now have to pay $4.00 per hour for parking but I think that is cheaper for a whole family to pay that instead of an individual entrance fee. Of course if... More

I second the above. It would be two buses and like 1.5km+ walking, taxi would definitely be easiest :)
