A great place to visit, but a bit disappointing that they only offer the evolutionary world-view on the beginning of the universe (space, time etc.)

Excellent place to visit and not to be missed saw the 3D presentation of the planets and gained so much from the various displays - we also enjoyed lunch at the Dish Café.

Such a surprise to find such a well presented centre showcasing the importance the Dish, as it is affectionally known, and Australia plays in space exploration. Interactive displays, theatre, and competitions for children not to mention the "whispering garden" and other outside displays make for a very interesting visit. The Dish itself is an awesome sight up close! It is... More

Always been a fan of astronomy so this was a treat for me. A nice interactive display everywhere you turned and of course there was the fabulous dish itself! Great photo opportunities, just remember to turn your phones to airplane mode when you arrive.

Very educational, lots of things to look at and interact with. The kids will enjoy it too. Just unfortunate the cafe decided to close early.

The kids particularly liked visiting the dish. We had been here before as kids ourselves but it was a first time for the kids. The info and venue here provides lots of education and it very interesting. We particularly liked the dish moving while we were here and the kids enjoyed the two dishes out the front which you could... More

I love Parkes telescope. It is such a fun and educational experience for kids with lots of hands on activities. Well worth the entry to the cinema experience as well considering entry to the telescope is free. Its a great viewing experience even for Littles. Well worth the visit and we will be back!
