** Whale watching May to November ** Port Macquarie Cruise Adventures operates several different styles of cruise boats and is one of the longest established cruise businesses in the region. Our largest boat, Discovery 2 (54 pax) was built for the Murray River. The shallow draft allows us to navigate to impossible places thru 2 national parks. See wetlands, endangered species of birds and dolphins on most trips.

I am usually not a "tourist-y tour kind of person". However, as I saw the humpack wales from the shore a few times, I thought it was time for me to take a closer look at them. I went whale watching with cruise adventures in...More

This activity is simply amazing. Not to be missed! Furthermore, we had a judge misunderstanding on the phone with them, which they managed perfectly, giving us the best experience we could have had here!! Really, the team is gold and the whales are impressive :)

I'm giving this a 4 because I got sea sick. However this trip met expectations in that we saw a number of humpback whales, some of which were relatively near the boat. The trip took 1.5 hours, which was long enough to get a good...More

This one and a half high speed boat trip to watch whales was worth every dollar. We observed two separate pods of humpback whales migrating along the Pacific coast. One of the whales in the first pod did a back flip while we were quite...More

We rode the Waverider out to see the whales. Seeing the whales up close was an amazing experience.🐳🐋 The crew were curteous and professional. We loved our speed trip back to port. Thanks skipper! 😎

I was lucky enough to be on the first whale watch on their red boat for the season and was not disappointed. They spotted Breaching whales in the distance and we sped off fast to find them. and when we did they stopped the boat...More

We did the sunset cruise today and we thought it was good value and saw an amazing sunset complete with clouds to add to it being more spectacular. I was amazed at the size of the homes in settlement city, after coming to Port for...More

This was our reward after a weekend of painting ... and what a good choice! We hung around on the wharf for a while amongst a lot of people, wondering how everyone was going to fit. Turned out there were 2 boats though, so no...More

$10 Sunset Cruise. We were a small family group that was told to be at the booking office 15minutes prior to trip and then had to wait for another 15 minutes before we left. Appeared a bit disorganised at the start. We were hoping to...More

Thanks for the review David. The boat departed on time and the 15 minute check in time is normal for every cruise. I and the office manager thought it was a good idea to keep your innocent children separated from the champagne swilling drunks out...More

I know that they can´t guarantee that you will see whales close by, but the fact was that we only saw a couple from very far away (we did see a couple of tails popping out of the water). We went in the red jet...More

This is quite a strange review. There are no whales seen at Port Macquarie in April. If the reviewer was here last season (June to October) then they are very slow to do a review and should not complain after the showing the nice whale...More

Gannets, shearwaters, albatross, sea eagles, bramini kites, any sort of pelagic birds (seasonal). We are doing coastal whale & dolphin patrols daily up to 5 miles offshore.
