Can do this on your own as a self guided tour but a docent led tour gives you much more knowledge on what you are looking at.

It's a nice respite from busy life and heavy traffic noise. The rain forest canopy and the beach are so close together and the landscape unique. it should be a sweet, easy walk. We went on a rainy day and attracted a few thirsty leeches....More

Beautiful rainforest. The walk is only around 1.5kms on a boardwalk so very easy to get around. We took our time and saw several species of birds. Afterwards we had coffee and milkshake in the cafe. Very enjoyable few hours.

This was a lovely walk surrounded by the rainforest. We enjoyed the information and strategic stops along the way. Good value for a family.

A lovely 1.3 km boardwalk through an untouched pocket of rainforest just minutes from the centre of Port Macquarie. Self-guided walk or the option of a guided tour. There is also a cafe on-site offering everything from breakfasts to meals.

How much for entrance fees n how Long will the walk take? if we want a guide ..do we need to book in advance n how much to engage him for?

The entrance fee is $8 per adult which includes a guided tour. No need to book the guide in advance, just request one when you arrive, you might have to wait a few minutes but there is a gift shop to browse while waiting.
