Nan Tien is very different from most tourist attractions because there is so much to offer: the visual delights of grandeur architecture, art & culture including unique exhibitions & festivals, Buddhist festivals, vegetarian culinary delights, educational & healthy life style classes & retreats, accommodation, top class conference and auditorium facilities as well as beautiful gardens & walks. There is also the spiritual and religious experience that is unforgettable and even life changing for some.

I went with a friend who worked at Nan Tien Temple as a guide , so everything was explained to me in detail. This added to our experience as we would not have had a clue about many of the places we visited in and around the Temple. I believe this Temple is run by female Monks .

Have visited many times with family and friends. One aspect is the dining room on level 2. A good simple vegetarian meal for $12.50. Spend some time in the gardens and temples. Very relaxing.

A very busy weekend at the temple .The last visit was so much quieter people wise. The whole experience on this busy weekend was just as spiritual and peaceful as the first visit.A must to do if you are in the area.

Took some visiting family to visit, all of us enjoyed it. There's plenty of walks through lovely gardens or up to beautiful views in multiple directions. Lots of visitor information, a small museum, cafe and trinket shop. Would take other visiting friends and family back.

This is an amazing place to visit. Great gardens, and a really nice cafe serving a large variety of vegetarian food.

We went to have a look around the temple one Sunday. Very pleasant and serene surroundings. We sat at the Dew Drop Inn and had kumquat tea. Very popular café with food and all types of drinks available. Very interesting and pleasant place to see.

Highly commercialized and impose unusual rules and restrictions on guests. As someone who has traveled to more legitimate temples I get the feeling nan tien is just out to grab a quick buck. If you're just looking for a pretty place to visit the temple does have some wonderful gardens and ponds to see.
