We made a refresherdive with Aquascuba on Barolin Point. The conditions weren't the best and we were a little insecure but the instructor was very comforting and found us another spot to enter the water. He was very reassuring. We also booked the diveequipment for a trip to lady musgrave island with Bundaberg Aquascuba. Unfortunately they forgot to put the... More

Had a fantastic day diving the M.V. Karma. It wasn't on the artificial reef so it took nearly an hr by boat, but it was worth it! A big 50m vessel that was full of life. We saw a manta ray and a turtle, and there were so many fish!!! We were also were lucky enough to explore inside the... More

As a family of 3 we did an introductory dive with Aqua Scuba. My 16 yo daughter had recently got her open water certification, mine had lapsed for about 20 years and my husband had only tried scuba in a swimming pool previously. After watching a video they fitted us out with the gear we needed and were extremely conscientious... More

I have taken dive lessons in Cuba and in the DR but I never felt that they had taught me enough if I ever got into trouble so I signed up for the open water course at Aqua Scuba. The staff was very friendly and relaxed and I was able to move through the material at the level I was... More

Staying out at Bargara. My wife and I wanted to dive the Barolin Rocks. We gave Julian a call to arrange tanks and weights. Very helpful with local advice and true to his word, we met with his dive team at Barolin Rocks and picked up the gear. If you're a dive tragic you will know how good it is... More

I finished my scuba diving course with this school. Everything worked out fine but the scuba diving spots weren't the best. Its really hard to get in from we the starting point is (lots of rocks, slippery - bit dangerous actually). The instructor was nice and helpfull - i had the feeling he knows what he is doing. We had... More

The guys at Aqua Scuba were especially accommodating. Arrived on a Tuesday with only the refresher course booked for that day. Both Julian and my instructor (James) were hugely helpful in and out of the water, and we managed an awesome shore dive at Barolin Rocks on the Wednesday, and even the artificial reef dive at short notice on the... We rented equipment at Aqua scuba to do a self guided shore dive at Nudibranch Park and Barolin Rocks at the coral cove. The equipment was well maintained and the value you get for the money is fair. Julien, the owner of the dive shop is a very nice guy. The atmosphere in the dive shop is very friendly and... More

If it hadn't been for access to this dive shop (and their expertise) our holiday would have been a complete disaster. All staff were friendly, courteous and couldn't do enough to help us. No request was treated with grumpiness, but followed up with can we do anything else to help you. Weather was dreadful for shore dives, but Julian organised... More
