Surfing heaven

Nationally recognised as a surfing beach. Roxy Surf Competitions were on while we were there. Terrific surf and well covered by surf life savers. I substantial undertow at times.

The clean waters played host to surfers enjoying the waves. Clean beach lovely place to sit back and watch others enjoy themselves.

A popular spot for taking photos, both sunrise and sunset. Need to be careful of the unpredicatable surf though even when on teh pathways

Words cannot explain what a great spot Snapper is. Greenpoint beach is right beside which is great for kids. This is a serious surf beach so be aware there are lots of surfers but a simply beautiful spot. Any visit to the Gold Coast should include a visit to Snapper. WSL - World Surf League starting here next week so... More

Beautiful beach on marine parade just passed Greenmount. Life guard patrolled beach and very safe. Good for body boarding. Some shady areas around

Snapper is a unique place. With Rainbow by on one side and Duranbah on the other it is nestled in between. For surfers it is a busy spot when the surf is pumping. (Not for beginners). The rocks that it is named after provides some awesome white splashes great for the photographer. They hold the Rip Curl Pro event here... More

A bit remote white sandy beach at the end corner of Coolangatta, plenty of rock outcrop, a place where visitors can avoid crowded places like the beaches at the main Goldcoast area. Great place for surfing, swimming or just relax and sitting watching the waves and see the high rise buildings at Goldcoast main centre as the horizon background.

One of our favourite Gold Coast beaches. Great surfing, easy parking, good amenities! Great place to watch the sun go down and have a BBQ. So perfect day and evening venue.
