Surprising hidden gem in Traralgon. Loverly cared for by locals and loved by the locals. Extra special in springtime watching all the chicks and young of the resident birdlife being cared for by their parents.

Little known to the general public. It’s a fantastic place to have a leisurely stroll including boardwalks, family BBQ or wedding photos (permissions sort and given). It’s surprisingly located within the town city limits of Traralgon as it is a bush land enclave. It’s quite...More

Our children loved it here. We visited for an hour and walked around the lake, explored the canyon, seen many birds, looked under logs for lizards and bugs and chased the birds and ducks. A great opportunity to take a few photos of the kids...More

Visit the Traralgon railway reserve quite often to have a picnic with family. New tracks have just been added that are a wonderful change. Need public toilets and BBQs.

The birds are very tame and it is such a pleasure to walk among them and they do not fly away. The lake and surrounds are well maintained and appointed. Accessible in a couple of minutes from the car park and an easy walk.

This is a lovely reserve with lots of walking trails. Lots of bird-life and heaps of great locations for family photos. There are no toilets or facilities (cafes etc) so bring food for a relaxing picnic.

Relaxing walk round the lake and good wildlife to see well worth a visit especially with children to feed the bird life

Constantly changing environment. This is our go to place when we have visitors and want to get out of the house. Wildlife, walking tracks and the kids can feed the ducks. Only doen side is there are no toilets

The park is great for a walk in a bush setting without having to drive far to get there. Lots of ducks and birds add to the surroundings
