A real outback pub experience.

On a 38 degree day it's a relief to get to the Broad Arrow pub where the beer is served icy cold. A couple of local characters sitting at the bar filled us in on the history but what can you say about a ghost town? Many thousands of people have left their mark on the walls so it's a... More

Good to see and write your name along with the 1000's of others on the walls or doors but beware as I think we were hugely overcharged for our meal and drinks,

The Broad Arrow Tavern is about all that is left of the old township of Broad Arrow. A 30 minute drive from the centre of Kalgoorlie it is a place worth visiting if you happen to be driving past and feel like a beer and one of the best Burgers around. Called the Famous Broady Burger it lives up to... More

30 minutes from Kalgoorlie, a past gold town with only the pub standing today. Such a historic place in the middle of nowhere. Great spot for a coldie and a feed, along with a leisurely historic read of the walls and ceiling.

It is such a shame that an iconic pub such as Broad Arrow provides such a low standard of service and food. We have been here in the past, some years ago, and really enjoyed the warm hospitality and food. I get it is a little remote but honestly good food and great service costs little. I would suggest either... More

Roughly 40km out of Kalgoorlie is worth the drive if you're looking for a quaint experience. The weather-beated, time-worn pub stands alone in what feels like a ghost town. The attraction? The text covered walls, writing on every surface out and in. The barman provides permanent markers to those who visit so that everyone and anyone can leave their mark.... More

Stop in for a burger and chips. They really are great! Take time to read the history plaques and look at all the old photos as well as the artistic graffiti walls! Nota long drive out of town but pleasant and the food is worth it!

Ora Banda has great lunches and has a wonderful yarn to tell about bombs and bikies. The road is now almost all bitumen so easy driving to get there now

Located middle of nowhere. Visitors write all over the wall. Just a dusty old pub but a must visit as you drive through.

I first visited this place 44 years ago and very little remains now other than the water tower, the pub and a couple of houses. This is a real shame as there was a ghost town at one stage. Nevertheless, there is still character and outback goldfields appeal about the place and it should be visited if for no other... More
