Sunflowers Animal Farm is an interactive, hands-on farm animal display with over 300 mainly farm animals. They are all very friendly because people feed them all day! Entry is $11, buckets of animal food are $3 and we are open every day (except Christmas Day) from 9am to 5pm. We have lots of baby animals that you can cuddle and also native animals like kangaroos and an emu. Have a conversation with Pommy the talking bird! Visitors can help give a bottle of milk to our orphan babies every day at 10am and 4pm.Staying overnight at Sunflowers Farmstay also gives your family free entry to the Animal Farm, free buckets of animal food for the children twice a day, a daily pony ride for kids under 7, free DVDs and a tractor ride for the whole family roughly every 2nd day.

Stopped in with my fiancé to pass time before the wineries opened. Surprisingly good fun, partner is obsessed with goats, so he loved it. They were adorable. All the animals seem happy, various signs let you know that some of them are unwell and receiving care. The goats though 😀

Sunflower Animal Farm near Margaret River is s must for families. Voted the best day ever today by the 2 children we took. Feed the goats, alpacas, chickens, ducks, emu, ostrich, kangaroos, pigs, guinea pigs, cows. Hold a baby chick or guinea pig. Bottle feed joeys or calves. A good place to spend a couple of hours, for all ages - children especially would love the hands-on opportunity with so many different animals. There is a good variety of animals to interact with, and I enjoyed a good chat with Pommy the long-billed corella upon arriving! Very reasonable prices ($12pp entry + $3 for a decent sized food... Loved this place as soon as we arrived the staff were friendly and left you alone to wonder through and see all the animals, so gorgeous holding the little chickens and patting the joeys. Had my partner and 1 year old with me, even my partner said it was great, especially the price tag! affordable for families compared to closer... More

Sunflowers allows you to get up close and personal with the farm animals. The animals are friendly and it's a great experience for the kids and adults too. Take a picnic lunch and make a day of it!

My family of six (2 adults, 4 elementary aged kids) stayed at Sunflowers for five nights in March. We had an amazing time!! The lodging, while older and in the need of some updates, was sufficient (although we weren't even in the room that much each day). The kids got to feed animals twice a day, helped collect eggs, fed... More

What an amazing visit. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The animals are all really friendly including the wild 28's who loved a little bit of bread. The joey's were the best part for myself. So friendly and loved pats and scratches. Will definitely come again and recommend for everyone to go there.

I've been to Sunflowers at least 10 times; I make sure I visit on every trip down to Margaret River. Unfortunately, this time wasn't as good as previous visits. I felt as though there were less animals to see and it wasn't really worth the $12 entry and $3 food bucket price. It might be because of the time of... More

Thanks for the review. We actually have more animals and more displays than ever before. Changes in the last 12 months have seen an increase in pens and animal displays. Maybe it was just the time of the year. In summer it's a bit dry a dusty and some pens may not have animals in them as we try not... More
