Caves Road is the basis for your Margaret River holiday. It's a pleasant road generally easy driving, lots of curves and no overtaking sections so hire the best car you can to make it a more pleasant trip. Work your way too to bottom and...More

The heart of the region, Caves Road is an incredibly pleasant drive with dozens of wineries, tourist attractions and of course Caves along it. Next time we'll take 1-2 days and drive its length and soak everything in. Whatever your GPS tell you, triple it...More

There are so many wineries and breweries along (or just off) this road that you probably could not fit them all in in a day or even a weekend. The road is an easy drive and most things are well sign posted. All very convenient.

Drive speed limit or slower to enjoy and watch for wildlife on road. Get off main road an hike Cape to Cape for for awhile. Better yet book Sean at Discovery Tours.

Long winding road made the passengers at the back feel like vomiting. The sign says "scenic tourist route" - I wouldn't bother. Get to the beach and enjoy the scenery - the roads are only for travelling.

Caves road or a scenic road that you can use to access many parts of Margaret River. The road is full of bends and wonderful trees and scenery along the way. Driving on Caves is one of the highlights of any trip to Nargaret River
