Family Visit

Visited with my husband and teenage sons. We enjoyed seeing the animals. Seem to be less animals than when we visited last time. There was a very naughty/greedy goat.

You have to ring a bell to be let in, the waiting room is in sad repair. We spent way too much money to go here.... It was $7/person and $2/cup of pellets to feed the animals. I just felt bad for nearly every one in there! Small, dirty pens. A free roaming deer that just laid with its head... More

This animal farm experience advertises a hands on experience but doesn't deliver. Animal pens were dirty and animals were either a bit aggressive or not accessible. overpriced.

I was staying at the attached Wacky Stays so I had free admission to the farm while I was there. I helped to feed the animals a couple of times. You can go right in with almost all of them and pat them if they're interested. The donkey and pony were the most friendly, followed by the goat and pigs.... More

The animals all look well fed and cared for. Staff were patient and helpful. Wonderful photo opportunities especially with children. And as an added bonus you can book a walk with the llamas!

We stayed at the Cushchine Farmer's Cottage with girls aged 5 and 9. They absolutely loved all the animals. It was quiet and peaceful, friendly and welcoming - and with the wood burner, warm as winter approached! The views are stunning. We had pony rides, llama treks, and fed the animals in the morning. Don't go if you want luxury... More

We went there recently and like other similar bad reviews were met by a miserable woman who was only interested in taking our money. $45 for 4 adults and one child. I can't believe on the website and in the Kaikoura Information booklet it said it had a cafe. You've got to be joking a dog wouldn't even set foot... More

Whilst passing through kaikoura i spent an afternoon at the farm park and had a great time at the hand feeding loads of animals such as llamas, goats, donkeys and ponies. What's really special is that you get to have a hands-on experience with the animals and go into their pens to pet and feed them which is quite unique!... More

We were excited about the visit to the park and been telling the kids on the drive to Kaikoura about what we were doing they were also excited. On arrival things were poorly organized with wet muddy gum boots supplied and this was not till I put my foot in them and discovered it... As we walked in the gate... More

This is our 2nd time here. The animals are so happy and well cared for with plenty of space to be free and natural. the staff were lovely and spent time with us telling us little stories about the animals. There were 3 sets of week old piglets, adorable. And you can stay here ( we will next time )... More
