Conner and Tylar took us out for an amazing morning of kayaking. After briefing with a few clear instructions we took to the water and paddled out to see and photograph the seals and happened across a small blue penguin swimming across our bows. On to Whaler Bay to see Hope Springs, still bubbling quietly away - an awesome result... More

We spent a lovely morning with the superb staff from Kaikoura Kayaks out on the water looking at seals in their natural environment. We were particularly impressed with the three lovely guys who took us on out. They were knowlegeable, funny, friendly and made us feel very safe. Great activity for families as well as singles/couples.

My wife and I had a three hour Kayak trip with Kaikoura Kayaks and it was one of the best experiences we have had in NZ. Connor the guide was very professional and very friendly and made us feel safe and at home from the very beginning of the trip. The trip itself was stunning and we were so lucky... More

Really enjoyed this activity, a highlight of New Zealand. Kayaks are highly suitable and very stable craft suitable for even beginners. Condition on our trip were perfect but the kayaks used can easily make rough conditions managable. Sore plenty of sea life and the affects of yhe recent earthquake.

We booked in for 3 adults and our 6 year old. Our first trip out was cancelled because the weather was too bad and we appreciated that they took safety so seriously. After going 5 weeks without business due to the earthquake, it was great to see that safety was still no.1 to Matt and his staff. We ended up... More

My husband and I did a morning excursion through Kaikoura Kayaks this morning. The company does a great job providing the right gear and information so that you can fully enjoy the experience. It was pretty windy but the guides did a good job keeping everyone together and pointed out any wildlife that we saw along the way. Definitely would... More
