The lady in charge on the day we visited was very interesting to listen to and very passionate about Fyffe House and its history. So much to see here - everything is very well set out.

A step into Kaikoura's history with very informative displays. Very well presented but though the price of 10$ per adult is a little steep for a local museum.

Take a step into the past. Interesting and full of little surprises. View the whale bone foundations and climb the narrow stairs to the bedrooms.

An amazing piece of Kaikoura history, very informative. Shelley told the s a lot about the place, the people that lived there, the whaling. Lovely things in the shop.

Fyffe House is hidden in plain sight. It is a pink, unassuming house. We were the only visitors at the time and had an informative tour. The house is historic and related to the once thriving whaling community of the Kaikoura area.
