These rock formations are very interesting, they look like organ pipes. The place is easily reachable by foot, a short walk on a track very close to the parking area. The best time to visit is when the sun is directly hitting the rocks, we went there early afternoon and it as good.

We enjoyed viewing the rock formation in this amazing national park. Beautiful flora too and the opportunity to learn about micro climates.

We visited here while travelling through the area. We got here near sunset which made it magical. The short walk to the rocks is easy and relatively flat. The rock wall is amazing to see. It's sheer size. Info boards along the way give you more insight into the area. Well worth a visit.

Only 38 kms from Narrabri, and then an easy 20mins walk on a very good tarred track, wheel chair friendly. Lots of Wildflowers . Amazing rock formations and a lovely little stream at the end. There is plenty of parking. There are tables and bbq for a Picnic, also toilets. Well worth the lovely drive through beautiful farmland.

Located just 38km from Narrabri, off the Bingara Road, is the amazing Sawn Rocks. There is a lovely picnic area with gas barbecues, covered picnic area and toilets. The walk is very relaxing, and in Spring the wild flowers are in full bloom adding to the beauty of the area. The Sawn Rocks formation are a great example of 'organ-piping',... More

This wasn't at all out of our way as we were on our way from Inverell to Narrabri on the back roads and this turnoff was only 100m off the main drag. Beautiful picnic area with well maintained car park and information boards and BBQ and seating area. Very easy walk on a hotmix path and boardwalks. At the end... More

It's an easy level walk of about 500 metres in from the car park and the same distance back. In mid September it was best to arrive at the rocks by 4,30 latest in order to get some excellent lighting on the rocks for great photography. The bush was in perfect condition in September 2016 and there were many colourful... More
