Stopped iin Russell after a ride to Hole in the Rock. Well worth the stop! We selected a few flavors and then nibbled on them while waiting for the ferry back to Paihia. Chocolates never made it to the ferry. Well worth the stop in Russell!

The sleepy but charming town of Russell is most fortunate to have a life-support system in the form of Newport Chocolates to prevent the place from sinking completely into a mid-winter coma. A wet and blustery August morning saw us wandering along Russell's beachfront precinct in search of a morale booster. Frustration levels were mounting as we learned that several... More

We ordered a variety of chocolates as well as a hot chocolate each (one of the best hot chocolates we have ever had) and wow everything was exquisite...the chocolates not only look beautiful but taste amazing and... The very best chocolates. We are so lucky to have this wonderful chocolate shop in Russell. It is a fine addition to our lovely town. The coffee is very good and the hot chocolate too. Nick and Leonora are friendly and helpful and try hard to please and understand the different requirements of each purchaser. Well done to you both.

This delightful chocolate shop is pure magic. The French chocolatiers hand craft their products from the finest ingredients. Their hand crafted hot chocolates are truly love in a cup. The truffles are amazing. The shop owners are kind and generous. This is a must do when visiting Russell.
