The Palmachim Beach National Park is a well-known recreation site for beach lovers, but it is also a nature site that preserves the natural beach, coastal limestone ridge and shifting sand dunes. Tel Yavneh-Yam is also located within the national park. The park includes a beach for swimming, indigenous coastal flora and fauna, a huge embankment from the Canaanite city, a sea turtle farm, a visitor service center, chair rental, beach umbrellas for sale, shaded areas on a declared beach, picnic tables, lifeguards during the bathing season and first-aid services. For details regarding bathing times, visit our website.

on Saturdays, twice a day there is a 1 km tour along the beach, emphasizing on animals, plants and history. The tour is very nice, short and interesting. Its suitable for smaller kids I think guide was great, open to questions and discussions, meeting point is great, with shade and tables and we even got free natural herbal tea (it... More

Clean, peaceful, even when crowded. One of the best beaches in Israel. Great for families with young kids.

I've been at Plmachim Beach more than 100 times in my life. The place is very natural. the the structure of this beach is very special, because it has like a natural harbor protection from big waves. There's a lack of facilities but it's wilder than other beaches Very nice

When you go to the beach in Israel you want: Sandy beach - check, quiet spot places without too many people - check (at the southern end, outside the formal part of the beach), services - check (at the main part) and clean - this is where it ranks "average" (after weekends - it needs to be cleaned).

I went right before shabbat so it was pretty crowded, but the beach is more beautiful than in tel aviv, and has more locals and fewer tourists. I even saw a hang glidet flying across all the beaches with a banner telling us shabbat candle lighting time!

Nice beach that is park of a nature reserve. Sand is nice (but could be MUCH cleaner). Water is nice (but could be MUCH cleaner). Restrooms could be MUCH MUCH MUCH cleaner. Plenty of parking.

You can find cool people in this beach, a lot of parties, surfing and there's an ancient castle in the cliffs above the beach.

Hidden from the crowded mega noise & trash generators, all still as God left since the day of the continent's creation. Endless carpet of shells on the narrow seashore (tricky for barefoot walking addicted) makes the proof of this to be one of the last natural beaches. Some romantic rough nests between the rocks attract pairs to hide from rest... More

This beach is a nature reserve and is therefore natural and bare. This is the favorite beach of my family and we are there every Saturday and sometimes during the week. life guard doesn't bother you like in other beaches you can enter water without interruption from him if you a good swimmer. They don't let beach peddlers, restaurants and... More
