Easy access to some wonderful scenery and swimming spots. Much better than some of it's highly rated competition.

Glad we made the effort to walk to the upper Pool. What a beautiful waterfall and stunning scenery. If you have done the Gunlom walk in Kakadu this is a breeze but as usual take it easy in the heat and take heaps of water....More

A short walk and then a brilliant swim in a lovely setting. The swim was particularly appreciated as in most places where you think you can swim you can't because of the croc. risk. Here is croc. free.

Stopped here for a while and had a swim in the pool at the bottom of the falls. It was a wonderful experience.

Edith Falls was one of our favourite spots. gorgeous to see and beautiful to swim in the top pools. Fair easy walk compared to what we did in Kakadu

We drove out to Edith Falls from Katherine and spent about 30 minutes climbing to the upper falls in very hot temperatures. Not many around and spent a few hours cooling off under the falls.

The heat here was an issue when we visited, intending to walk up the lookout and round the circuit. At 40 degrees we elected to walk around the water, having started the walk and thought better of it. Beautiful location and great for swimming

Yes it sealed & can take a camper there to cafe & grassed areas. There is a short trail up over & down to the actual falls itself.

Not far at all. About 30-40 min drive north on the main Stuart highway. There is a well marked sign on the right and a paved road to the parking lot. The trail loop going up to the various lagoons and waterfalls is well... More
