We started from Ohiya railway station and walked along the path to Bambarakanda falls. Best way to travel to Ohiya is by Night train which starts from Colombo fort at 8.00 pm so you can reach here by early morning. Better to book the tickets in advanced, otherwise you might have to stay standing and awake for the whole night since this train is always crowded. Sunrise and the scenic view is spectacular in the morning since the sky is mostly clear during that time. But the mountains will start covering with clouds and mostly the road will be misty after couple of hours so you'll have a very nice experience. At the end of the trail you can reach Lanka Ella and Bambarakanda falls and can walk to the source of the waterfalls by little effort.

Don't need to be an experienced hiker, but definitely a good workout with spectacular view. The sunrise from the top of the trails is spectacular.
