Arrowtown is stunning! We came in early spring as all the flowers were in early bloom. The people were friendly and the streets were neat and tidy! Beautiful!

We visited Arrowtown on the way from Queenstown to Wanaka. The village looked quaint and lovely but the buildings were all cafes, clothing shops, gift shops. The word "twee" came to mind ... as did "expensive". Cars are allowed to travel through the main street...More

Beautifully restored old town with lots of shops, cafes and ice cream places. You can see the loving restoration at every turn and they are obviously proud to be an Arrowtown resident or shopkeeper. Came here twice and discovered more hidden charm with each visit.

A must do if you are visiting the Queenstown area. Delightful villiage environment with plenty of beautiful photo opportunities. Exceptional food, beverage and sweets are on offer from an array of establishments....each with their own unique twist. You will be glad that you visited Arrowtown!

A good place to visit with many interesting historical buildings. It is a pity that vehicles are allowed in the main street as it spoils the historic atmosphere.

Came to visit, can't agree more with Corby M that this place is trying hard to capitalize on one hand, but on the other hand , hasn't got any idea how to serve! My friend went into the Back Country Clothing Shop and not only...More

We dropped by Arrowtown for lunch and we absolutely loved this charming town. The town centre has so many great cafes and restaurants. Great for a romantic stroll & relaxing lunch. Was a pleasing difference from the hustle & bustle of Queenstown city.

There are 2 routes by Connectabus which departs from O'Connell's Shopping Centre. Both take around 30-35 minutes. 1 of them goes directly to Arrowtown while the other interchanges at Frankton hub.
