Nice little place in Arrowtown. We had a whisky tasting here and Andrew looked after us well. I’ll happily go back when I’m in town next.

We were lucky enough to catch happy hour at the Blue Door and had a very pleasant time, snugly tucked into the leather chairs. A great spot.

After dinner at La Rumbla a night cap was on the agenda. Tucked away down an alley behind, well- a blue door- is a small bar reminiscent of a wine cellar but with a log fire and live music. Perfect.

I used to go to the Blue door often, but I’ve found the staff behind the bar since the place changed hands to be less friendly. I’d go to the Tap now- much friendlier.

Nice, small, stone walled bar just off the Main Street of Arrowtown! Nice big fireplace creates an ambience hard to find these days. Before the music starts you can hear conversations. The bartenders are polite and attentive. Would recommend to any age group (over 21)...More

Behind an unassuming blue front door is a quaint oasis to relax with friends. We decided to try a few of the great range of gin on offer before we went out for dinner. We did not get to stay for the band on Wednesday...More

A cosy snug of a place that offers a broad range of wines and craft beers. The cocktail waiter was very nice and mixed well. The light food was a bonus and the roaring fire much appreciated. My go to place in Arrowtown!

We went here on open mic night and they sure do pack people in. We started with a cocktail which was delicious. When we went to get a glass of wine we realised they are just as expensive as a cocktail - for a glass....More

Gets noisier as the night rolls in. Memorable night with friends, a band and standing room only. Just squeeze on in with plenty of choices at the bar.

After a cracking dinner next door at Saffron( see review)we wondered some 3 meters(yes thats right) to this funky little bar with a great solo guitarist belting out some great tunes. With a fire place and big comfy lounges you could easily sit here for...More

Sorry I had a hire car, but it is not that far so if booked in advance I suspect you would not have a problem
