You step down into a room below ground level that looks as if it has been carved out of stone. The open fire makes for a very cosy setting and we hired the whole place out for a group of 18. The food was pretty...More

The best. Quaint and rustic restaurant. Great quiet atmosphere and the quality of food was excellent. Staff friendly and courteous! Definitely recommend this place for a hardy meal, prices about middle ground of the other restaurants we checked out in Arrow town.

Have visited many times and is as good as ever. Great snacks available. A must do for anyone visiting Central Otago - particularly in winter when the cosy open fire adds to the ambience

Sorry I had a hire car, but it is not that far so if booked in advance I suspect you would not have a problem
