It suggested 2 hours to complete the walk, however it took us less than an hour including stopping on multiple occasions. It is very steep, but it isn't that far. It is worth the view.

Everyone has to climb Mt.Coolum at least once! If you aren't fit then it is hard but not unachievable. It's only 30mins up and it's very steep but the view at the top is worth it. Try and do early morning or an afternoon session...More

This hike took about 30 mins to get to the top. It has a bunch of stairs crafted from nature to make getting up easier. Once at the top you get a nice panoramic view of the ocean. This hike is fairly popular and seems...More

A short, steeper hike up the hill with great views across Coolum and beyond.. Enjoyed the earlier morning hike. Did the hike on a Friday morning and not too many people on the trek. Appeared to be more people mid-morning so would recommend doing earlier...More

We had our 10kg toddler in one of those hiking carriers and the walk does have a very sheer, steep section on the side with no hand-holds that's a little unnerving. Then up the top section it's quite sandy on the stones which can be...More

Since moving here I have made this hike a regular workout. It isn't a huge challenge but it's a decent workout and if you are relatively fit, should take you 20-25 min to get ot the top. I noticed many people do it twice for...More

This was a nice hike. The sign says 2 hours round trip, it took us 40 minutes at a leisurely pace. The view from the top was nice and the stone path/stairs were really cool!

It's worth the climb try to go on a weekday as weekends can get a little hectic with so many people on the mountain

No restrictions just make sure you have a torch when you go early or late as in winter you lose day light early and it's cold at the moment in the morning, it is with any time of the day but I prefer early mornings. Just do... More
