The pub has closed its doors for the last time and is now considered a heritage building in the village.so should be removed completely from Trip Advisor as it is no longer a venue....

No point in visiting. It is boarded up. The land my be used for a housing development. Sad loss of a proper pub that use to have sport on telly and a dart board and a pool table.

This is our second visit to The Churchill Arms in the last 2 weeks To sum things up...this is the best Thai food that we have eaten outside Thailand it is absolutely fantastic. They have a great choice of food and with Singha beer on draft it is well recommended

I have eaten in many Thai restaurants both in the UK and Thailand. I read the previous reviews and yes the ambience is traditional village pub but we were there to eat as there is no other Thai restaurant between Shaftesbury and Poole Our food was perfect, just like home cooking, my mouth is watering just writing this. The cook took the trouble to come out of the kitchen to ask if our meal was OK. I will be back for the food and I'm not bothered about the slightly scruffy ambience, in a way I think it adds something as it makes a change from the usual Thai restaurant. Try it and make up your own mind. If you just want good Thai food and home ambience then they do takeaways, the range is good and they do specials.

So after months of anticipation we finally tried the Thai food Takeaway at the Churchill Arms Sturminster Marshall. We were shocked and very disappointed with the results . I had the red Thai curry which tbf was ok although the chicken was cheap and poor quality not fresh very dry and probably overcooked...as was the meat on my partners meal. She had the Tom Kha Curry .....which was frankly appalling ...basically it consisted of water coconut milk with uncooked onions a few coriander leaves and a cherry tomato!! With no chilli at all it was bland to say the least ......TBH we could have done better ourselves and from now on we will .....avoid this place at all costs..what a waste of money and a Sunday evening....
