Very nice scenic views. New highway pleasure to drive but very steep in places Super views not rushed with lots of traffic 562 Columbia peso toll or around $15 seems a bit high for a toll

The toll is high (about US$20) but there are some areas (Los Haitises) with beautiful scenic views. If you are going to Las Terrenas or Portillo, it saves at least a couple of hours driving.
