Great view from the lookout point but not much else there because it was devastated by last year’s storm. Worth a drive round the area though, just to be amazed by the fabulous houses!

In the way of Mariners I suppose its alright, the parking is a little scares for the amount of people, we used a car service and it was great and there was no problems with parking then. However, I found the little shop inside completely...More

With the marinas in Airlie Beach now servicing the brunt of the tourist boats, Shute harbour is mostly used by boats and barges transporting goods and equipment. It appears to have taken quite a hit from cyclone Debbie (April 2017) and the majority of the...More

We took a short, easy drive from Airlie Beach to Shute Harbour just to have a look at the place. Whilst the buildings and jetty have obviously been hit badly by cyclone Debbie the view over the blue water is just perfect. We wondered about...More

Shute Harbour has unfortunately taken a beating from cyclone Debbie. It is still an easy drive to visit and worth a look if you have time, but nothing remains open. The jetty is battered and the terminals in disrepair. It still has beautiful views though...More

We took a short drive from Arlie beach and even tho you can see the damage from Debbie. It is still beautiful. You can drive up the hill, where there is a look out.

There is not a whole lot to do actually. Have a coffee or go for a walk on the beach board walk which follows the beach line. There are lots of little Cafes on the walk. Enjoy😀
