Very sad to see so many unmarked graves. Very thought provoking. Well worth going here to appreciate the effects of war for all those countries involved. Such a waste of a lot of young people

After visiting the Japanese gardens & the Breakout site, it was interesting to visit the cemetery and read the headstones, particularly interesting was the age of some of the civilian internees that died during this time.

The Japanese war cemetery is quite small, but quite moving and is the only Japanese war cemetery outside Japan. Worth the visit. Like most cemeteries is quite moving.

This is the only Japanese War Cemetery outside Japan. It is not big but it has a peaceful entry. Next to it is a Australian War Cemetery.
