Stunning beach with many amenities close

Stunning beach, with many amenities close by, but not packed. The surf lifesaving club is right there. It is safe and patrolled

Breathtaking scenery, a bush walk around the edge of the bay. More sheltered than the Surfers Paradise that can be windy. Becoming a foodies centre too. Most of the best beaches are south of Surfers Paradise, all the way down to Coolangatta. But in saying that, I am nit picking because this whole area of Gold Coast is a blessed... More

Lovely clear water and clean sand. In close proximity to great restaurants, shops, takeaway food. Patrolled beach, gentle surf, play area and picnic tables. Plenty of shade. Great for families.

We stopped at the beach before going to the national park and it was great. It can get a little busy at times but you can find some quieter areas if you walk down further. If you start walking down the ocean view path in the national park, there are a few stairs along the track that lead you to... More

I always pick Burleigh over Surfers when down the coast simply because it is a much more family friendly place with little of the crush that comes with Surfers Paradise Beach. Located only a short trip down from Surfers it seems to be another world away - - recommended if you want to relax more than action!

This place is amazing, clean, protected and has lots of cafes. Would recommend for families, surfers or just a nice place to take a stroll.

Burleigh is awesome and away from the hustle of surfers. This is the best part of the gold coast. Recommend it.

Burleigh beach is a 'must' for any visitor to the Gold Coast. Burleigh is a patrolled surf beach suitable for surfing, body boarding and swimming with a wide stretch of golden sand, pathways for walking/cycling and parkland for picnics. Both the North and South headlands have lookouts with spectacular views. The Southern Headland is also a National Park that adjoins... More
