The walk between Mooloolaba and Alex Heads is a must do when in that part of the world. Take the time though to stop at the HMAS Brisbane Memorial ... a well designed site - lovely view and a great rest spot!
We were lucky to get flat calm seas, blue water, great visibility and lots of fish. The wreck is beautiful - ever changing with coral that looks like it’s out of a jewel box. Thank you, Scuba World, Mooloolaba
This monument tells about the HMAS Brisbane being sunk off the coast and that it is now a dive wreck. A beautiful memorial shaped like the bow of a boat with plenty of green grass to spread a blanket on the ground for a picnic.
