Worth the drive to get there through the country side. A bit of a walk from each end to the actual fall. The falls appear to be in about three sections so don't think you have got to the main bit towards the bottom.

These falls are a little isolated but are worth the visit. great for visit if you are on that side of the area.

Great falls need more seats and need to be under sixty years of age and very fit I have had open heart surgery twelve months ago and really struggled getting back up it was worth it when we finally got the there

Well worth the short trip to access. The falls are beautiful and it's mesmerizing to just sit and watch the water cascading down over the rocks. One of Tasmania's most well known and beautiful falls.

Well worth the visit, moderately busy, but plenty of room on a glorious walking track through 10mtr tall tree ferns in abundance with many fern variations & rainforest trees. The final approach to the c/park is approx 8klm, of well maintained single lane gravel road....More

While not the most spectacular falls, these falls offer a great walk in the bush and a pretty spot to spend a few hours. These falls have also not suffering the over tourist issues that now faces many other sites in Tasmania.

Definitely go to Cataract Gorge in Launceston. Driving up to Cradle Mountain is lovely but you need a whole day there as the tours are quite long. We stayed at Jackey's Marsh which we loved. Fabulous views of the... More
