Love my 3 hours walk here at the sanctuary. There are 9 koalas here but I managed to spot only 7, not bad as the koalas are not caged and they are free to roam. They usually sleep between branches high up the eucalyptus tree....More

Went as a family to the Koala Park and whilst it is a good set up we only saw 4 Koalas and as usual they were asleep. I would not go back but it is a wellset up place

Can never get enough of looking at koalas... Had a sore knee..but the walk was little to both boardwalks where we did get to see around 7 koalas... Worth seeing on the Island...

It was a nice cool day for walking around the park. We were able to see a few koalas relaxing in the trees. It was off season so the park was mostly empty. That made a very nice walk.

We went with overseas visitors. It seems a bit expensive BUT you see Koalas close up and in a natural environment. We liked the idea that they are not handled by visitors or in a modified environment. You can see other animals in the wetland as...More

My children and I saw 9 koalas resting in gum trees. There are boardwalks from which to see the treetops. After a short walk on the boardwalks, there isn't much else to do in the surrounding scrubby bush.More

Dear Karen_ML_Melb Thank you for your review and feedback of your recent visit to the Koala Conservation Centre. I'm glad to you got to see 9 koalas, as that's some pretty good spotting. The treetop boardwalks do of course bring you up higher into the...More

Good place to spend an hour (but probably not much longer), well designed to maximise your chances of spotting the koalas

Essentially there are two parts to this park. The first is an enclosed area where it is almost certain that you will see koalas. Sometimes they are quite high up in trees but still pretty close. The second is open spaces where the main game...More

You can buy tickets at the counter. However if you buy 3 parks pass which includes Koala Conservation Sanctuary, Penguin Parade and Churchill Island you will save some $s as it is cheaper to buy them together.
