Love this place. Great location with convenient parking. Standing at the edge of the beach makes you feel very close to the ends of heaven and earth. Went back twice within 2 days; highly recommended.

As a regular visitor to Lorne, I rate this beach as one of the finest - crystal clear water and nice ride-able waves. I never miss the famous Lorne Pier to Pub Swim Race! Don't miss the lovely 10 minute walk to the Lorne Pier.

Lorne Beach is quite, beautiful and picturesque. Worth the time and dime we spent. A must in our honest opinion.

Was a bit of blustery day but we stopped at this town as there was a huge flock of Cockateel's (these are a big deal in the UK) on the park green. The beach is beautiful and the town pretty with lots of quaint shops,...More

Nice for walks along the beach in the cooler months. Short trip down stairs to beach, there is a car park and wheelchair access to the park. Lifesaving club so in summer, beach is patrolled.

When you travel from Melbourne to Port Campbell you will come across Lorne town it is a small town by the side of the beach. You find the beach and birds around here.
