My kids love the museum- lots of old vehicles and memorabilia. If you like military history or have a child that is crazy for it - it's a good place to visit

Not only is this museum great to visit by adults but also to take a group of young kids to see working exhibits and other displays. The staff are friendly and only to willing to help out. Displays are well set out and easy to walk around and view all parts of the exhibits. The museum mainly consists of vehicles... More

You could spend hours in this museum. Huge area with exhibits itemized in much detail. I was particularly interested in the trucks used in the Second World War as my father was a Rat of Tobruk and he drove trucks such as those exhibited. As the Museum is on Army premises you need to make a booking 24 hours in... More

As the museum is on an actual army base, security is a necessity so be prepared. I was shocked with the size of the museum, it is huge & stacked full of army memorabilia from actual photos of soldiers in differing circumstances, weapons, vehicles & uniforms. At times I got very emotional by getting a better insight into what the... More

The display was awesome. The detailed weaponry and historical exhibits were great. The vehicle displays which fill a huge building exceeded my expectations. They are in pristine condition, look like you can jump in and start them. They covered just about every military vehicle you could think of (although only a couple of tanks). I spent ages there and had... More

The Bandiana Army Museum is a must for those interested in our military past. The vast collection is excellent and covers all wars and conflicts. The staff and volunteers have done an excellent job in restoring a lot of the displays. Allow yourself plenty of time as there is a lot to see. Brilliant

The museum houses a fabulous collection of artifacts and memorabilia, and with a local focus too. There are a number of interactive displays to help keep young kids occupied. Allow several hours to visit and if you go in winter wear really warm clothes as the museum is not heated. Suggest you phone in advance and check if bookings are... More

It is always a pleasure to visit this museum. The displays are interesting, the staff are friendly and helpful and the cost is very reasonable. Well worth the effort it takes to get in and always on the agenda when friends visit
