Heading to Middleton Beach a suburb of Albany is definitely worth a visit. It is a lovely beach which you can walk right around to Emu Point (I think it takes around 45mins). There is also a lovely restaurant and a kiosk/cafe - The Three Anchors, with a great play ground outside for the kids while you relax and have... More

We had coffee down there once during the day with a young child with us and it was great, as there is a playground out the front. The other time was night and it was very relaxing.

After booking into a local Air B&B we found to our wonder that this beach was less than a stones throw from our front door. It was absolutely fabulous. Very kid friendly but lots of dog walkers who generally keep their dogs in check. Well worth a visit.

Stopped for a bbq lunch in the park area, beautiful beach area, patrolled by surf lifesavers. Nice little spot!

It was too windy to swim there while we were in Albany recently, but Middleton Beach was beautiful, the different shades of blue and white soft sand were a delight to walk on. The beach spotless and safe, with a great and rather inventive kids play swings for the little ones, plus a shark net (yay) and a nice pontoon... More

Lovely East facing beach where you can come to enjoy the peaceful sunrise in the morning. There is plenty of accomodation, cafe's and restuarants in the vicinity (accessible by foot). A short <10min drive into the Albany town centre. The beach can get quite windy in summer, but the best time of the year to visit is probably between end... More

A really nice spot for a safe swim. The beach is clean, tidy and manned by local surf life saving. Their are nets designed to keep large marine life out of the swimming area. Beautiful white sand and wasn't too much seaweed.

Great relaxing stroll along the white sands with the bluest of blue waves to clear your mind or inspire. Such a world class place to sit and relax especially at sunset.
