Well worth visiting this beautiful memorial, in a stunning position overlooking the Sound to remember the servicemen who did not return. Take it slowly as there are lots of steps to reach the top but there is vehicle access for those unable to walk.

After watching how the memorial was constructed at The Anzac Centre, had to drive down the hill to see it in all its glory.Loved that you could drop off at the memorial and then walk down all the stairs to car park...

Beautiful memorial the the mounted corps. There are quite a few stairs so best to take it easy. Great view from the top

The view is stunning, The Memorial was tasteful and sobering. The excerpts from letters humanised a war of madness and slaughter.

The detail in the monument is excellent and the views from the top of the hill are vast. There's a drop off area at the top if people may have difficulty climbing the long stairway.
