Worth a visit and only $5 adult, $2.50 child. Easily found near The Brig Amity replica ship and parking is also very close.

A suggestion that we visit the gaol was met with great enthusiasm and we were soon wandering the rooms, cells, courtyards, etc. that make up the complex. The informative pamphlet provided the grandkids with a better understanding of the function of each room and area....More

Great place to visit. Extremely interesting in regard to the information on the war also displays of what the old goal would have been like, mind boggling. Recommend this to everyone, won't be disappointed.

Definitely worth the visit! A creepy old gaol with lots of information. The best part is the creepy mannequins that scare you around every corner!! Do yourself a favor and visit this old gem.

One of the cheaper things to do - fully of infortmation and history. Funny dummies dressed as prisoners - quite scary. A great place for families to visit to learn about some interesting characters and Albany's history.

A lovely atmospheric spot. The kids loved it apart from the dark cell. There was plenty of information regarding its history. The link with Jack the ripper made for a good read
