Super fun!

Great people watching and a beautiful beach. Avoid the weekends if possible when it's really busy and crowded. Surf isn't too rough so it's good for smaller kids and families.

A perfect beach for lounging and swimming. I even spotted a koala! I would go back in a heartbeat :)

Lovely fine sandy beach, was protected from the winds due to the headland. The water was very clear and refreshing with gentle waves. You can hire surfboards, umbrella's on the beach, handy to Hastings street facilities, showers, surf club and refreshments. Has a nice boardwalk to sit and relax and watch the sunset/sunrise over the mountains in the distance. Just... More

Most beaches we have visited in Australia are nearly empty. This isn't one of those beaches. It is hugely popular, both with families and with surfers. Good sand, and large waves. But if you want solitude then you're going to have to walk a long way along the beach, and even then......

The town overshadows the beach experience with great shops and restaurants. The beach is good but not many green or shade areas needed on a hot day. Nevertheless, Noosa offers a great package!

Beautiful beach, patrolled 7 days a week. Hastings street a short stroll away if you get hungry. Hard to find a prettier spot for a swim or a beach walk.

We always love swimming at Noosa main beach. You have to be careful of weather and sea conditions, but if it is a calm day it is so refreshing to swim in the beautifully clean water.

Lovely beach, doesn't usually have a big surf so it's suitable for all swim levels. Sand is clean, boardwalk is lovely to sit and people watch.

Spent a morning at this beach and it was fantastic. Plenty of space for everyone. Lots of walk ways and beautiful bays and loads of surfers. Grassy sections and plenty of trees and definitely worth the effort of finding parking.
