Tiny church

This small Baroque church is heavily decorated in blue and white tiles and the alter in gold. It’s spectacular and well worth the visit if you’re anywhere near. It doesn’t take long to look around so you can fit it into the busiest of schedules.

Beautiful blue tiles and carved gold leaf altar. Near Almancil on 125 on right side coming from Fari. Well worth a stop. Check opening hours ahead of visit

Well worth the visit to this spectacular chapel

Perched on the highest point in the village (of course) is this spectacular chapel where everything is finely and ornately decorated in blue mosaics and tiles. Well worth the visit to see some Portuguese art and history combined. Definitely a hidden gem. Please check when...More
