The Drip is magnificent. The kids loved it and the scenery fantastic. The only let down was that the carpark was closed for a major and much needed renovation, hence officially it does not exist for April. There has been a lot of maintenance done since I last went, and the vandalism gone. You need two fully functioning legs to... More

The Drip is an amazing huge rock wall that has you standing in awe at the beauty of it's wide expanse. The Drip wall has lush ferns and mosses growing from the constant seepage of water across it's face. The moisture becomes water droplets that form drip patterns in the pools at the base of the wall. The location is... More

We had a wonderful walk along the banks of the Goulburn River into the Drip Gorge. The scenery along the way is stunning as you walk beside the fabulous sandstone cliffs and overhangs. Watch out and you may find some pretty rock orchids and small ferns on the rock face. There is also an archway which makes for great photography.... More

This is a great walk along an ancient gorge, with a meandering river. Lots of birdlife and the outstanding view was a flock of Emu, who scattered when they heard me.

An interesting walk along a creek in a small sandstone gorge . Wildflowers were a bonus. Well formed track and not too strenuous.

Great walk close to Mudgee . Great for photos.,an fun for all ages not difficult at all. You can walk though the creek but need reef shoes as there are lots of rocks. Take water an a hat.

This gorge is around a 20-30 minute walk from the car park along a well formed path which does not present too many difficulties. Just be mindful that in the heat of the day it can get uncomfortable. The walk is along the river and is very picturesque with plenty of photo opportunities

We visited on a swelteringly hot day so took our swimming gear. It was a fairly easy walk but in some sections you do have to climb up and down rocks. Wear good footwear then change into flip flops at the end would be my suggestion then you can walk through the water and go further into the gorge. It... More
