My sister and I went on a 4 hour trail ride on Saturday. I can't say enough good things about our experience here, except maybe that our time went by too fast, we hated for the day to end! It was so much fun! We...More

An awesome cowboy led us on a scenic trail that crossed a creek a few times and went by a lake. People were nice and our children really enjoyed their ride.

We've been riding here for 6 years. The wranglers are friendly and the owners make you feel like family. My daughters favorite horse is Mutt-I think she loves him more than me!

We loved our two-hour ride through the beautiful forest near Porter Mountain Stables. The horses were very calm and cooperative, and our wrangler was friendly and a great tour guide! We'd highly recommend these stables to go horseback riding when in Show Low!

Hi. I had a knee replacement almost 10 years ago and it has never been really right. I have rode before and and as a child I would go to the riding stables in Chandler, Az. But because of my knee it won't bend enough for me to get up on the horse and handle my weight pressure on it. Would you happen to have a little step ladder that I could use to get on and off the horse? I really miss riding and would love to beable to do it while we are renting a cabin at Lake on the woods. I just need to get on the horse and then I am fine. I would truly be grateful. Sincerely, Sharon Day.

Based on our experience you will be just fine. They will take care of you.
We would have 7 or 8 family members, are there any discount for that size of group?

I really don't know as we've only had a group of three. You'd have to call them.
