Namsskogan Familiepark is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Nord-Trondelag. We have the biggest collection of Nordic animals in Norway! Here you can meet bears, moose, wolves, arctic foxes, lynx, wolverine and many other creatures. We offer activities like climbing park, zip-line, alpine racer, crash boats, bungee trampolines and more. Young children can visit our farm with tame animals like hedgehogs and sheep. During summer our witch Rebella Hex takes you on a magical journey you won't forget. You can spend the night in a wooden lavvu right by the bears, feed the arctic foxes, or try out some of our local produced foods. For more info, visit Familieparken.no or our Facebook page

Entry fee is little bit expensive, but at the other hand, where else you can see bears, wolfs, arctic foxes and many other interesting animals. Exhibits for animals are really nice, animals have got enough space and i think they are treated well. You can find many kid´s playground there and many other activities for kids, you can stay here... More

It's a great place. Great to see all of the Nordic animals in their natural habitat. Lots of activities for all the family to take part in. We particularly enjoyed the tobogganing. The barbecue areas are also a great idea. Having the pedalos and canoes is also great. You can really make a day of this place.

The animal park in terms of animal collection and how they are kept is great no questions about it. But because animals are kept in their almost natural environment, it is sometimes rather difficult to see them, especially shy ones like wolves for example. It is best to see most of them during the time of feeding. That way you... More

Hello Serge! I really agree with you - following a guide is the best way to see some of the animals, especially the wolves. We have 4 guidings every day through the summer season. With 30 different Nordic species, you will, however, see many of them if you walk on your own too. When it comes to accommodation, I'm sorry... More

Had a great day out. The park has a great concept of having all of their animals in their natural environment. We saw Lynx, wolves, brown bears and a wolverine. In addition there are lots of activities for kids. Our 9 y-o son and his one year younger mate tried out everything they could. Thoroughly recommend a visit

An amusement park for any person interested in animals. We stayed over in one of their 'lavvos' and had a wonderful time looking at the animals when we were alone in the park. We can recomend it for families, but the "beds" was unconfortable. We saw all the big norwegian carnivoures (all eleven wolves!!) and many other wonderfull animals, rowed... More

This park is perfect for a visit with small kids. (Ours are 3 and 2y) The animals are kept in their 'natural' habitat which adds to the authenticity of the park. Bring your own picnic of you want!

Probably some of the best kept animals I've seen with huge enclosures for most animals. This unfortunately means that some animals are difficult to see. After paying the entrance fee in addition to animals, this park also has free canoeing, an exhilarating downhill roller coaster and lots of activities for kids. There are also spaces to BBQ. The best ride... More

Myself and two teenagers spent a very relaxing day at the park. The area is much larger than it looks and has plenty of space to expand. It was very well kept and though, at the moment, it is geared more towards smaller children than teenagers and adults, Halfway through the park (The paths circle a lake.) we more or... More

The park has some of the typical Norwegian animals like elk, brown bear and wolves, but the variety is small compared to other similar parks in Norway. The park is suitable for kids as the animals are fenced in a rather compressed area.
