This peculiar small churc digged out of a big rock near the sea. Rock formations in the surrounding area in the sea are beautiful to see. There is also a small church on an adjacent island also digged out of a rock, but you can only go there swimming or with a small boat. there are also ancient rock quarry, where the famous red Skyrow marmor was quaried and tranfered by sea to ancient cities for important public buildings, palaces and temples. The area of the quary is clearly visible and identified with the straight lines of the marmor extricated. Some marmor blocks still stand or lie there. The whole experience is worth going there, just a kilometer from the beaches of Skyros and Molos.

A little church in the rock and direct at the sea. This area of Skyros -Gyrismata- has a very nice view of Chora and to the sea. Nearby is also a windmill.

A bit off the road at the far end of the Milos beach area you find this tiny chapel placed inside a rock.
Well worth visiting!

Unfortunately this place was closed up when we went to visit it last month. However the unique location and outside visual experience rates 3 stars for sure.

The place and the surroundings are stunning. In addition to the church in the stone, there are two other churches and a breathtaking beach. Enjoy the views and the peace.

Interesting small chapel in a rock, near Mollos, Skyros island. And if you need a drink, there is another interesting thing just steps away - a bar on the waterfront in the shape of a windmill, against a picturesque background.

Rare spectacle. It's like stepping into a picture. Sunset is creepy. A spectacle of embarrassing beauty

Great location, beautiful chapel with traditional architecture carved on a rock! It is worth visiting for the church and the surrounding area.
