We watched the surfers at noon, then I tried body surfing. You need to be a strong swimmer experienced in currents and waves to try this, because there are rocks that you can get pushed toward. Fun, but I wouldn't do it again.

Wife and I just got back from Rincon. Spent several days laying on the beach under palm trees watching the surfers. This is not a swimming beach but a great place to surf.

There are surfing events on the summer. This is one of the best surfing beaches in the island. Located right next to the lighthouse.

Very beautiful and great surfing beach particularly for beginning surfers. I understand the waves are much bigger in the winter month but in the summer it made for great surfing for our kids as part of their surf camp.

Can get busy but it's a charming spot. Good place if you like to mingle. If you want to practice catching waves in solitude, go as early as you can.

I liked going here because there is a little bit of shade to hide from the beating sun. There aren't any vendors so make sure to bring your food and water. The first part of the water has rocks, but you can get passed it...More
