Drive here and it was wonderful. It can get busy so check with tour operator on best time to visit. We only had an hour here and could have done with several more. There is walking involved and it involves climbing steps so be prepared...More

Mention Machu Picchu and you’ll be warned about altitude sickness. While there’s no guarantee you won’t fall victim, here’s a tip. As soon as you land in Cusco... leave! Have a driver take you straight down to the Sacred Valley, which the lowest point in...More

The entire area is beautiful and extremely peaceful. We visited in May and the valley was filled with wheat-colored grasses surrounded by layers of mountains. There are many winding mountain roads, and we were glad to have a guided driver navigating instead of doing it...More

I found this treck to be very precarious. Uneven and different heights of stone steps made this scary by times! You really do need to be in fairly good physical condition to climb to the top. Having good balance is definitely an advantage! Once a...More

We think so, because we visited Machu Picchu first and then this tour to Sacred Valley. Machu Picchu was so amazing that may be after that we couldn't enjoy Sacred Valley. Definitely I recommend to invert the order!
