We went on the Zodiac boat in the late afternoon and had an amazing experience! The boat ride out there was half the fun, and once we were out a bit we started looking for whales. We saw about 15 whales in total in different locations (all humpbacks) and could not imagine a more perfect afternoon! The tour guide moved... More

We took the 10:30 a.m. Zodiac tour on a picture perfect, sunny, calm day. The survival float suits you are given to use during this tour keep you quite warm. Under the float suit, I wore my light-weight hiking pants, and a long-sleeved fleece top over a wicking short-sleeved T-shirt. I did use my fleece hat for when the Zodiac... More

Best whale watching on the planet! They take you right into the middle of the heart of where all the whales are- they were so close it was exhilarating. We went on the zodiac which I highly encourage. We weren't going to bu the big boat broke down. We were so close it was amazing & we could zip over... More

We've been on a couple different Atlantic whale watches in the States, and they were nothing compared to this. Captain Harold really takes his work seriously, and he made sure that we had ample opportunities to see not just a whale, but three different pods of whales. And they were shockingly close to the boat! It was exhiliarating. The highlight... More

We took the Mega Nova trip and had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect, and in about an hour we were among the whales! I would estimate we sited about 10, and several more than once. Two or three moms with calves, and all came quite close to the boat. Great opportunities for pictures! The staff was friendly and... More

Such a wonderful experience to go with Brier Island Whale and Seabird Cruises - Excellent company, lots of great information and seeing whales so close as well as lovely dolphins. It was a magnificent day - I loved every minute and will return - the whales are such fantastic creatures of the sea.

We took the boat trip on a Saturday and needed to book as it was very busy. The trip was great and we saw quite a few whales and very close to the boat. The staff on board were very helpful and informative. The sea was quite rough and as a consequence the captain kept the whales on the starboard... More

I've been whale watching several times from both Long and Brier Islands - never had a bad trip. This was my first time with Brier Island Whale & Seabird Cruises. I cannot say enough how wonderful the trip was. They were able to tell us the name of every humpback (9) we saw as well as some of their ages... More
